Abbey seeks charity applications for £100,000 in Bradford area

first_imgPersonal financial service company Abbey has expanded its new Community Programme to cover Bradford and the surrounding areas.In April, Abbey launched a pilot scheme in Sheffield that has now been extended to cover Bradford and the surrounding areas. Over the next two months, Abbey will be donating an additional £100,000 to charities in the Sheffield and Bradford areas whose applications fit with Abbey’s new charitable priorities. Abbey is looking for applications for funding of £5,000 to £20,000, with the aim of making a positive impact on the local community. Charities have until 30 June 2004 to apply for funding. Decisions on applications received will be taken in July and the names of the successful applicants announced shortly afterwards.
