Annual Track Conference

first_imgThe Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country coaches held their annual track conference at Indianapolis this past weekend.  Well over 700 coaches from around Indiana were present.  As the weather continues to be snowy and cold, the indoor track season is upon us.  Before we know it, we will be heading outside for spring sports.I look forward to this every year because you are able to meet with old friends that you only see on this occasion.  It is amazing how technical track has become.  Since the advent of technology, you not only can visually see what your athlete’s are doing but we have devices that tell you what is taking place inside their bodies.  It is yet to be proven just how helpful all this data is going to be in improving the sport.I am looking forward to the beginning of another outdoor season in a month or so.last_img read more
