first_imgFIANNA FAIL members in Donegal have given a stark warning to party leader Micheal Martin on the abortion issue.Party delegates at the Ard Fheis in Dublin overwhelmingly opposed the government’s current proposals to legislate for the provision of abortion services to suicidal pregnant women.A motion from Donegal North East opposed ‘‘the introduction of any legislation which introduces the ‘risk of suicide’ as a threat to life of the mother and legitimises abortion in Ireland’’.
