Team members were; Niamh McEniff, Patrick McGarvey, Martin Quinn, Daniel Geoghegan and Eimear Walsh. Dungloe/Na Rossa played Ardara in the Minor League quarter final on Monday evening. The teams were all level at half time and when the final whistle blew at the end of the game the sides still couldn’t be separated. Ryan Greene with a late goal to force the game to a replay.U14 hurlers started their league campaign against St Eunans who are a strong outfit. A strong breeze influenced the game but Dungloe/ Gweedore defended well against it in the first half and went in 3 points down. There was excellent defending by Joe Greene, Martin Mannion, Odhran Mcgonagle and Brendan Boyle throughout the match. In the second half Dungloe forwards saw more action with Michael McNulty, Neil Noble, Gerard Glackin and Aidan McHugh doing great work . The game finished all square with Dungloe Gweedore making all the running as the light faded and game ended. A great display and terrific start for the lads.Under 10 Training: Reminder that any boys and girls for U-10 age group that are interested in training & playing with Dungloe need to be born after the 1st January 2005. If your child is born before 31st December 2004 then they are overage for U-10. We ask all mums and dads to encourage their boys and girls to come along, take part in the training, matches and team activities.Well done to the Rosses Community School on reaching the semi-finals of the 1st and 2nd year all county blitz, losing narrowly to a strong St. Eunans team in the end.Under 16 Div 1 Southern Regional league result. An Clochan Liath 2 07 Four Masters 2 13. In our first match of the competition, the team were defeated to Four Masters after a competitive fixture throughout played in Rosses Park this evening.Playing in rough weather conditions, Dungloe led at half time thanks to a Shaun Mc Gee goal 1-06 to 007 and some fine saves from Aaron McCafferty. Our lads went further in front when Oisin Bonner scored another goal after the restart but after that the Donegal Town lads fought back with a couple of goals of their own and some fine points to win by a six point margin. Best for Dungloe were Shaun McGee, Aaron McClafferty and Jack Doherty.
